Though I can understand the need/urge to use guides when you're just checking a game out you have heard great things about and hadn't really had the time to judge for yourself. It's your run, you can play however you want to, but being excited about an upcoming release, I just can't take people seriously if they then proceed to just trophy hunt without any personal investment whatsoever. Part of gaming is the experience, and just minmaxing achievement collection + progression from the get go takes away a lot of the experience and imo then you don't really want to play the game as much as you want to add it to your CV of games you can tell people you have played.ĭom't get me wrong, if anyone wants to use guides, sure. Not gonna lie, if anyone waits for a sequel (or a spiritual sequel) and uses guides for a first run when that comes out (using a guide for more than hints at points in the game where they're genuinely stuck, that is) then idk if they even liked the game that much to begin with. What do you think about Silk Soul mode, what do you think it will be? And after beating the game, there will be this Silk Soul mode, Team cherry said it won't be like the steel soul game, it will be a "quite curious" mode that will make the game challenging. Now that I think about it, I think it's like the original Steel Soul mode, but with something different. I don't want to use wikis this time, maybe at the end if there's a secret I skipped then I will do it. I'm super happy about Silksong, because now that I'm more experienced in Hollow Knight I will be able to go through the game completely blind, I'm gonna take my time and I will spend more time doing everything wich is actually good because, you Know, more hours of gameplay. It's been like 16 months since I got into Hollow Knight, my first playthrough was using a guide, And I got the 112% percentage in like 100 hours lol, (20 hours in the Pantheons), I haven't beaten P5 yet lol, I'm willing to do so. r/demonssouls /r/darksouls /r/darksouls2 /r/darksouls3 /r/bloodborne /r/saltandsanctuary /r/castlevania /r/metroid Ultra-high-resolution Interactive Hallownest Map at with downloads and making-of videos. These sites have cool Hollow Knight content!
